True Solar Time ("the site") is an indie software project. This policy explains what information is collected and how it is used. We do not sell your data.
Using the calculator requires no account. Input values (location, date, time) are sent to the server to compute results and are not stored beyond the scope of a single request, except as described below.
The site may store a short history of recent calculations in your browser or in a temporary session to support convenience features such as recent calculations. This data is not linked to any identity and is not shared.

If developer accounts or API keys are enabled, we may store information related to your account, API keys, usage, and creation dates in order to manage access, enforce rate limits, and prevent abuse.
Standard web server logs may record IP addresses, request paths, timestamps, and response codes. These logs are used for debugging, security monitoring, and abuse prevention. They are not sold or shared with advertisers.
The site may use cookies or browser local storage for session continuity (e.g. remembering a UI preference or keeping you signed in). No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are set.

Server logs are retained for a limited period for operational purposes. API key data is retained while the key is active. To request deletion of account-related data, contact us at the address below.
